The Seaside Adventure

Molly was going to the seaside. It was summer and she felt extremely hot

and thats why her parents decided to take her to the seaside. When molly reached, she immediately plunged into the cool refreshing water of the wild sea. She swam a bit and thought she saw a mermaids tail! Molly shook her head and blinked several times. Within moments it had vanished!

Things were getting too strange she thought and, went to build a sand castle. She built a lovely one and made a moat too! She lined the moat with shells, so that water wouldn't get absorbed into the sand. Then she waded into the sea for time to pass.

She looked underwater with her goggles on and saw some attractive looking fish. She swam in deeper to get a closer look and saw them swimming towards a large clam which was lying on the seabed open. She swam after them until they reached the ginormous clam shell.

The fish surprisingly formed a circle around the shell and then an octopus turned the shell three times so that Molly could see who sat in the calm shell.

Molly could not believe her eyes! Her mouth opened in astonishment! A mermaid sat inside the shell! The mermaid whispered "Hello" in a smooth silvery voice. Molly mumbled "Hi" back to the mermaid shyly. "Let's be friends" the mermaid suggested. "I'm Pearl", "I'm Molly" croaked Molly, and she said "I would love to be friends".

"Good" the mermaid said. I will stay here. Meet me whenever you can. Just follow the fish. She waved her hand and Molly found herself back on the shore.

What a strange adventure thought Molly. How weird !
