Welcome to Horror land

Zoe, a girl of 12 years was shifting to Targhost, a small city, which was rumoured to be haunted. Zoe lived with her mother and her younger sister, christened "Elizabeth Fargon Dearie Catrine Wiya". Zoe's father died in a terrifying accident which included, Zoe's elder sister too. The story was that one day Lara (Zoe's elder sister) and Frank (their father) had gone for a walk, then a car blocked their path. Bang ! both of them dropped down, dead !

Zoe finally reached her new house, it was a dark cottage with broken windows and dried up honeysuckle. When Zoe opened the door a musty smell came out. It was dusty with a few dead roaches, cobwebs stuck to the ceiling & it was not a pretty sight. Zoe was disgusted, and so was her mother and sister.

Zoe went up to her room, inside was a dead mouse on the floor. Zoe heard a hooting noise and screamed in fright. She put on her torch and pointed it at the direction the sound was coming from and saw an owl sitting on her chair. She tried to shoo it away - it wouldn't budge ! It looked like it was going to be there forever. Zoe suddenly felt cold air and the owl took off.

A voice in her head said, "Zoe ! follow the owl". So Zoe followed the owl. The owl led her to a gloomy mansion. Zoe stepped inside carefully - then she saw a pool of blood in front of her. She heard a singing voice, she went closer to the pool of blood and saw a beautiful lady who was a ghost bathing in it. Zoe screamed and the lady looked up startled. The lady said, you must be new! My name is Stella - welcome to 'Horror Land'. Zoe asked her in a shaky voice - how can the mansion be a horror land ? The lady answered the name of this mansion is horror land !

Then the lady took a white skirt next to her and put it on. She climbed out of the pool and said - let me introduce you to all of my other friends over here. Then she led Zoe to a green room - and said, this is my friend "Frankenstein" , we call him Franky. Everybody in this castle does one part of work, for the castle - Franky over here gives us the nuts & bolts.

Then, she led Zoe to a red room - inside was a vampire sucking blood out of dead humans and animals. Zoe gasped at that sight. This is "Veruca" vampire, we call her 'Bloody Mary'. She sucks the blood out of dead animals and humans and she gives us the flesh, so that we can cook it and eat it.

Zoe breathed a sigh of relief. Now let me lead you to the most miserable room in this castle. And Stella opened the door - it was a white room and a skull stood on a mannequin. The skull murmured a hi ! and Stella said - "Skele" over here is very upset because when we had the ball - there was no "body" to go with him !

Then she led Zoe to a grey room and said you may find this room a bit scary when they stepped inside, she heard moaning and groaning. Stella said, here are all the zombies. A finger suddenly touched Zoe and she jumped up. Stop that Tom ! Stella said.

Then she led Zoe to the last room and said - here are two of my friends of my kind. They are my friends and they might be yours too ! Zoe was puzzled - inside Zoe saw two familiar figures and realised, they were her dead sister and father in the form of ghost.

Well ! Zoe rushed home and called her whole family, her mother and little sister came running over ! There was a big family reunion and then Zoe and her mother and sister left !

What an adventure had come from the first day of the place, Zoe didn't want to be !
